This is Annalee’s dad and, apparently, the only person qualified to write this bio. From what she's told me, Annalee is a Texas-born writer, director, and producer specializing in very serious silly content.
She was a funny little thing who had every I Love Lucy episode memorized and believed in Santa until she was 12, so we're all just glad she made friends.
Known for making moms and sons laugh at the same joke (her words, not mine, Honey), her work places relatable characters into delightfully bizarre situations. After getting her start producing commercial animation, she fell in love with practical effects, fabricated worlds, and pulling off the impossible in-camera. She carries the same spirit to projects that blend grounded performances with physical comedy and a kiss of absurdism.
Her directing has been recognized by LA Comedy Fest, Dumbo Film Festival, Shiny and the SHOOT New Directors Showcase. She performs improv in New York, serves as a returning judge for NYU’s Fusion Film Festival, and has somehow turned filling her apartment with fake limbs and assorted garbage (“props” she calls them) into a career.
